Meet the panelists:
Amber Ferguson, Domestic Sales Executive, Phillip Island Nature Parks
For over a decade, Amber's love of people, nature and travel has enabled her to share with millions of visitors our incredible experiences here in Victoria. Following on from her studies at William Angliss Institute, Amber has held roles in sales, marketing, operations, and customer service. As the Domestic Sales Executive at Phillip Island Nature Parks, Amber’s job is not only about driving funds to support conservation efforts but also to create lasting memories.
Alysha Huxley, Nature Travel Content Creator
Alysha Huxley is a content creator and science communicator with a background in environmental science. Passionate about sustainable nature travel, she partners with tourism boards, travel brands, publications and eco-stays to promote educated, engaged travel. Through storytelling, she inspires connection, curiosity and care for the environment via science-backed nature adventures.
Natalie Markovski, Marketing Coordinator, Parks Victoria
Natalie kicked off her tourism career with a Bachelor of Business, majoring in Event Management/Tourism Management, and found a passion for Victoria’s tourism industry. She has had roles with Zoos Victoria, Melbourne Skydeck, Puffing Billy Railway and is currently the Marketing Coordinator at Parks Victoria. So far, she has taken on roles in social media, content creation, campaign development, partnerships, customer service and more.
Some of her career highlights so far include hosting tourism workshops for more than 500 licensed tour operators across Victoria, joining many in-park famils focused on high-quality visitor experiences, and having the privilege of marketing Victoria’s most loved parks and experiences to an engaged digital audience through, social media, email marketing, campaigns and partnerships. With her varied experiences, Natalie thrives in all-rounder roles where she can connect the dots across different touchpoints and bring it all together.
